Product description
BNO055 is a combined inertial measurement unit (IMU) and processor, for direct readouts of absolute position. Regular motion sensors give separate data for acceleration, tilt and direction, which then have to be converted into a usable measurement. The BNO055 collects this data, calculates absolute orientation and instead gives data which is ready to use. Apart from the BNO055, the board includes a voltage regulator, logic level shifter for the I2C-connections, reset and a 32kHz crystal.
The BNO055 can output the following measurements:
