The Arduino GSM/GPRS shield allows your Arduino project to connect to the internet, it is capable of sending and receiving SMS and making and receiving voice and data calls. The shield is supplied with a SIM card from Telefonica Digital with a world-wide roaming plan for your applications but it isn't locked to any telecom provider.
