Ultracell 12V VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) maintenance-free lead-acid battery. Also named GEL battery. For alarm systems, emergency lighting, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), etc. Ultracell lead-acid batteries have silver-plated copper terminals for the best possible connection and PbCaSn alloy plates for minor gas leakage and low self discharge. The battery container is made of durable ABS plastic. A lead acid accumulator that is used cyclical i.e. discharged with more than 50% of its total capacity should be charged as soon as possible to avoid damage. Worn-out lead acid batteries are considered as harmful waste and should always be taken to a recycling station.
