DC motor with planetary gearbox for driving heavy loads. The encoder is mounted on the shaft and provides a quadrature output for precise reading of the motors relative position. Can be used for feedback of movements for a robot. The gearbox has a ratio of 231:1 with an unloaded shaft speed of 52rpm.
