Product description
Electrokit EKM003 is a voltage regulator based on Texas Instruments' superb buck-booster converter TSP63070. It is capable of both step-up and step-down regulation without interruption. The input voltage can vary between 3V and 16V while the output is kept completely stable at either 3.3V or 5V. The output voltage is set to 5V by default and can be changed to 3.3V by connecting the VSEL input to GND. Maximum current draw depends on input and output voltage. However, the regulator circuit can handle a maximum of 2A. For a more detailed description of current draw, see diagram in data sheet for TPS63070 page 28. Supplied incl. screw terminals and pin header (not mounted).
