Product description
Gel flux / Flux Gel / Topnik Zel. Dosage syringe with 1.4 ml content. The gel flux is a thickened rosin flux of RMA class. Used for all types of soldering work, including hot air. Ideal for SMD soldering and desoldering. Also used for manual tinning or restoration of solderability in e.g. repair work. Gives the tin/solder very good wetting. Ideal for those who need to apply flux in exact quantities for detailed precision work. The flux is amber in color and has a density of about 1.0 g/cm³ at 80°C and has a flash point exceeding 150°C. These properties ensure safe and efficient use.
Good solderability on surfaces such as: silver (Ag), copper (Cu), gold (Au), zinc (Zn), tin (Sn) and tin-lead alloy (SnPb).
The residues have no corrosive effect after soldering, so there is no requirement for cleaning after soldering. The flux is not water soluble of No-Clean type. If you still want to wash off residues, it is done with isopropanol.
Complies with ISO 9454 1134 and J-STD-004 - ROMO.
