Product description
The 4 contact types, that this die was designed to crimp, have different amp ratings:
Use the "15" Die slot for crimping 15 amp terminals (P/N 9615-01) to the following wire sizes:
16 gauge / 16 AWG 18 gauge / 18 AWG 20 gauge / 20 AWG
Use the "30" Die slot for crimping 30 amp terminals (P/N 9630-01) to the following wire sizes:
12 gauge / 12 AWG 14 gauge / 14 AWG
Use the "45" Die slot for crimping 45 amp terminals (P/N 9645-01) to the following wire sizes:
10 gauge / 10 AWG
Use the "75" Die slot for crimping 75 amp terminals (P/N 9675-02) to the following wire sizes:
6 gauge / 6 AWG
The contact size corresponds to the position marking on the die. The 15 amp contact goes into the "15" position, the 30 amp into the "30" position, 45 amp into the "45" position, and 75 amp into the "75" position.
