9V Li-Ion with built-in battery charger. Charges through USB-C connection. Powerful Li-Ion battery with the size 9V (6F22). Has a very high capacity (500 mAh) to be a rechargeable 9V battery. In comparison, an alkaline 9V battery has about the same capacity. The terminal voltage is 7.4V instead of 8.4V as for NiMH. This is normally not a problem for the connected device as the cut-off voltage for a normal alkaline battery is 5.4V. On delivery, the battery needs to be charged (comes pre-charged to 30%). Charging is done with standard USB-C charger (not included).
