Product description
EVE ER26500 - C - Lithium thionyl chloride is a primary cell with a terminal voltage of 3.6 V. Lithium thionyl chloride is one of the most powerful and potent battery chemistries. It consists of lithium (Li), sulphur (S), oxygen (O) and chlorine (Cl). Properties: very high energy density, low self-discharge and high chemical stability. With its very high energy density, the capacity is twice as high compared to e.g. Li-Ion. The ability to operate in a wide temperature range and to resist strong vibrations means that it is used in everything from medical technology to space stations. Common uses include memory backup, sensors, medical instruments, measuring instruments, security systems, etc. Shelf life: 10-20 years. Working temperature: -60 to +85 °C. Marking / designation: ER, LS, LTC.
