Switch seamlessly between two different power supplies. Power simultaneously with two different DC sources, such as battery and a plug in power supply. The LM66200 Dual Ideal Diode breakout will automatically select the power supply with the highest output voltage. There is always a slight difference in output voltage between different power supplies, which is enough for the LM6620 to make its choice. In this way, two different power supply options can be switched on simultaneously. If one fails, the other is automatically selected and vice versa. You will thus be able to make a seamless hot-swap between two different DC power supplies. LM66200 also protects against reverse voltage.
