CMOS Fixed Output Step-Up Switching Regulator
The MAX632 is a +12V fixed output, step-up DC-DC converter for use in low-power, high-efficiency switching regulator applications. The only external components required are an output filter capacitor and a low-cost inductor. Included on-chip are low battery detection circuitry and a charge pump output for generating a negative voltage in dual-supply applications.
The most simply used as a fixed output regulator, the MAX632 can also be set for other output voltages by adding an external voltage divider.
