Connect any extra accessory, max 10 A. Example: lights, power amplifier, refrigerator, extra socket, or fan. Tap adapter for easy installation of an extra circuit with a separate fused socket. Connects in the vehicle fuse box. Instruction: Remove the fuse where tapping is to take place. Measure with a multimeter and check which side of the fuse holder poles that is positive voltage. Connect the multimeter between the fuse connector and to a grounded point. Connect the tap adapter's positive pin to the fuse holder's positive connector. Insert the old fuse back into the lower socket. Plug the new fuse into the upper socket. The new fuse now protects the new load connected to the tap. See wiring diagram. Tap with blue splice sleeve. Contact made of copper/zinc (Cu/Zn) with tin plating (Sn). Fuse not included.
