Product description
IRF520 MOSFET driver module. Module for controlling larger DC loads from, for example, a microcontroller, logic circuit, push button or sensor. The module has an IRF520 (N-channel MOSFET), a LED that shows the status of the control signal, and screw terminals for supply voltage and output. The control signal is sent to the pin header and should be at least 5V * to open the transistor channel. The transistor is fully open at 10V. The module can be used both to turn a load on/off and for PWM control.
Areas of application:
- LED strips and lighting
- DC motors
- Pumps
- Solenoid valves
- Control of contactor
Connection to microcontroller:
- SIG – control signal
- VCC – Not connected
- GND – Ground (minus)
Connection screw terminals:
- VIN: Drive voltage (max): 12-24 VDC**
- GND: Ground (minus)
- V- : Negative pole for load
- V+: Positive pole for load
Other:
- Max load: 1A (up to 5A with heat sink)
- LED indicates when control signal is activated
- Dimensions: 34 × 26 mm
- Hole pattern: c-c 28.6mm / ø3mm
* at lower loads, the control signal can operate down to approx. 3.3 V
** operates down to 5 V if the load current is low
