High-Quality Piezo Tweeter with Spherical Aluminum Dome for Wide Dispersion. This high-quality piezo tweeter features a vaulted spherical aluminum dome, providing a wide radiation angle. It can be connected directly to an amplifier or via a crossover network. Unlike traditional horn tweeters that use a conical diaphragm, this tweeter utilizes a spherical aluminum dome.
While the sound pressure is not as high as that of comparable piezo tweeters, the aluminum dome offers a significantly wider dispersion and delivers a clear, brilliant sound.
The special geometry and low moving mass of the spherical aluminum dome ensure a very clean frequency response up to 45,000 Hz. This makes the tweeter particularly suitable for use as an ultrasonic speaker.
