Product description
Pixy2 CMUcam5 is a compact and fast color camera module for robotics and embedded systems. It can be trained to recognize objects with a single button press and uses new algorithms for line following, intersection detection, and interpretation of "road signs" that control robot actions such as turning and speed changes. Image processing is performed at up to 60 frames per second for fast response.
A special cable for Arduino and a USB cable for Raspberry Pi are included for easy connection. The module also supports SPI, I2C, UART, and USB interfaces, providing flexibility for integration with different control systems.
Object detection is based on a color filtering algorithm that calculates hue and saturation for each pixel, making the system stable even under varying lighting and exposure conditions.
