With the M.2 HAT+ from Raspberry Pi, you can now utilize the PCI-express port on the Raspberry Pi 5 for extremely fast and reliable storage. The M.2 HAT mounts like a regular expansion card on the Raspberry Pi, but connects via a flex cable to PCI-express port. The board supports all SSDs and other compatible peripherals with M-key in 2230 and 2242 formats and provides transfer speeds of up to 500MB/s. The board supply up to 3A to connected devices. It comes with a 16mm stackable header and spacers which provides enough clearance to be used with the active cooler for the Pi5.
