Product description
Looking for an extremely accurate way to detect motion utilizing AI? We've got you covered with the Qwiic-enabled, SparkFun LSM6DSV16X Micro 6DoF IMU Breakout. The LSM6DSV16X, from STMicroelectronics, is a high-performance, low-power 6-axis IMU, featuring a 3-axis digital accelerometer, and a 3-axis digital gyroscope, with a triple core for processing acceleration and angular rate data on three separate channels (user interface, OIS, and EIS) with dedicated configuration, processing, and filtering. With its 0.3in. x 0.75in. Qwiic Micro footprint, this accelerometer will fit into most, if not all of your smallest projects.
The triple core of the LSM6DSV16X enables processes in edge computing, leveraging embedded advanced dedicated features such as a finite state machine (FSM) for configurable motion tracking and a machine learning core (MLC) for contextual awareness with exportable AI features for IoT applications.
Additionally, Qvar (electric charge variation detection) is embedded in the LSM6DSV16X for user interface functions like tap, double tap, triple tap, long press, or L/R - R/L swipe.
