Product description
Power Supply HAT designed for Raspberry Pi 5 (also for Pi 3 and 4). Eliminate the need to power supply via USB-C (5V 5A) plug-in power adapter. Allows you to power from any external power supply. Excellent when Raspberry Pi is embedded in applications. Also suitable when you want to power multiple Raspberry Pi’s from one power supply, for example monitors used in retail advertising (Digital signage). The supply voltage (6-36 V) allows you to choose from a variety of easily available DC power supplies on the market. Protected against incorrect connection (polarity), overvoltage, overheating and short circuit. Does not block MIPI (camera/display) or PCI-Express connections. Can be used together with a cooling fan or a heat sink (max 10 mm), e.g. Raspberry Pi Active Cooler. No GPIO pins are used and any regular expansion board (HAT) can be stacked on top of the Power Supply HAT.
