Switch regulator 12V 1A 78xx compatible

Small switch regulator for fixed output voltage. The package is pin compatible with the 78xx-series linear regulators, but requires no external components or heatsink. Can be used in applications where a linear regulator wont fit or where the input voltage is too high and would cause a thermal overload. The output is short-circuit proof.
