TIPS:
A manual desoldering pump is preferable to a soldering braid when soldering larger quantities of tin for both economic and performance reasons, as the soldering braid is a consumable and has a tendency to get stuck where parts of larger soldering areas cool down, resulting in unnecessary heating.
