USB-C cable with a DB9 male (DSUB 9-pin). Can be used to program and communicate with older devices with a serial port. The cable has a built-in USB to serial converter from FTDI and voltage inverter to create ±6V. The cable provides (approximately) +/-6V serial (RS232) not 5V serial (TTL) which is good older devices like GPS, PDAs, programmers etc. Some cheaper RS232 cables “cheat” and only give you 0-5V which doesn't work with some devices. The cable has a real voltage doubler/inverter to make it more compatible. Works with MacOS X, Linux and Windows. Cable length: 1.5m
